Serving members after a disaster. Providers are responsible for protecting their assets and people. Once you determine the level of your needs and ability to provide services, complete the Change in Providers form. Look for local recovery resources by using Needslist or ReadyNC . Be sure to communicate with your members, staff, and other partners. 

Take care of your own mental health serving as a first responder or assisting in disaster recovery can drain your energy and cause stress or anxiety. The ongoing pandemic can drastically increase this impact. Recognize warning signs and risk factors for emotional distress by visiting SAMHSA.
