Mental Health | Substance Use Service
Behavioral health care includes mental health and substance use disorder treatment and rehabilitation services. All members and recipients have access to services to help with mental health issues like depression or anxiety, or to help with alcohol or other substance use disorders.
The behavioral health services covered by Trillium include:
- Assertive community treatment (ACT)
- Behavioral health crisis services and withdrawal management services
- Facility based crisis services for children and adolescents
- Mobile crisis management services
- Professional treatment services in a facility based crisis program
- Ambulatory detoxification services
- Medically supervised or alcohol and drug abuse treatment center detoxification crisis stabilization
- Non-hospital medical detoxification services
- Child and adolescent day treatment services
- Community support team (CST)
- Diagnostic assessment services
- Early and periodic screening, diagnostic and treatment services (EPSDT) for members under age 21
- Multi-systemic therapy services
- Intensive in-home services
- Inpatient behavioral health services
- Outpatient behavioral health emergency room services
- Outpatient behavioral health services provided by direct enrolled providers
- Partial hospitalization
- Peer support services
- Psychiatric residential treatment facilities (PRTFs)
- Psychological services in health departments and school-based health centers sponsored by health departments
- Psychosocial rehabilitation
- Research based intensive behavioral health treatment
- Residential treatment facility services for children and adolescents
- Substance use disorder (SUD) Services
